Charleville-Mézières France

Charleville-Mézières is a French town and commune located in the department of the Ardennes and in the Great East region. His name in French is Carolomaceriens. The inhabitants of Charleville were carolopolitains and those of Mézières, mazériens. The current Mont Olympe was long called Montagne du Castelet. This name came from having been the site of a small Roman fortified camp (castelletum), where Carlos Gonzaga would send a fortress, finally razed under Louis XIV.
